After The Crowds is a short play that takes place at Flushing Meadows Park in 1964. It is about two Colombian World's Fair workers, Eduardo and Gladys, who engage in a lively conversation about cultural differences between Colombia and the United States, revealing their contrasting views on the advancements in technology and the lifestyle of the Gringos.
 Eduardo shows a sense of admiration for the World's Fair, while Gladys maintains a more skeptical viewpoint. The play ends with Eduardo and Gladys finishing their work and heading home, with Gladys expressing her love for Colombia and its culture.
